Pilot project to help

asylum seekers join the tourism sector

FRANÇAIS   –   ESPAÑOL

1 000 pairing
per year!

The objective for
the next 3 years

The Conseil québécois des ressources humaines en tourisme (CQRHT) is launching a pilot project to facilitate pairing between asylum seekers holding a work permit and tourism businesses.

The CQRHT aspire to create the conditions that will promote the integration of asylum seekers into the tourism labour market while the Government of Canada is processing their application.

During the start-up phase, the matching process between the profiles of the asylum seekers and the jobs available in the industry will centre on the needs of the summer season. The CQRHT will deploy a digital platform in the fall that will allow the creation of a micro-labour market to simplify the matching process and meet the specific needs of businesses all around the province.
